Telugu Cultural Association, IIT-Bombay
"The communion of Telugu speaking Bachelors & Masters Students, Research Scholars and Faculty of IIT Bombay."
This association was formed long back to create a platform for all people hailing from Andhra Pradesh, India to exchange their views, celebrate festivals and flourish traditional culture.
Main objectives behind the formation TelCA:
- Celebrate various festivals like Sankranthi, Deepavali etc...
- Screening of telugu movies, theatrical plays.
- Encourage cultural participation of enthu students.
- Enhancement of Faculty-Student Interactions.
These activities are being organized by the members of TelCA. Each and every hostel in IIT Bombay has representatives to look after these events which are being conducted every year. For any information, you can contact your respective hostel representative.
Apart from these activities, TelCA also serves as a platform to bring out hidden talents of Telugu friends. We organise many cultural programmes like singing, dance competitions, dramas, instrument playing, Antakshari, group dance etc.,
